Falna, January 19 — A college visit program for students of Government Higher Secondary School, Takhatgarh, was organized at the local SPU College under the auspices of the Computer Science Council. The primary objective of this program was to provide students with fundamental knowledge of Information Technology.
During the event, keynote speaker Assistant Professor Dr. Rishi Mathur delivered a detailed lecture on the topic of Social Media Platform Awareness. Additionally, Vice-Principal Dr. Gautam Sharma explained that the goal of such programs is to teach students the practical applications of classroom theories to better prepare them for their future careers.
Program Highlights:
- Campus Tour: Program coordinator Dalpat Singh guided students through the computer lab, college library, and various science council laboratories including Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Botany.
- Facility Exposure: Students also visited the college auditorium, Siroya Indoor Stadium, and the general college premises.
- Expert Insights: Subject experts shared critical information aimed at student welfare throughout the tour.
At the conclusion of the event, students described the visit as an “unprecedented experience”. The program was attended by all college staff members, along with school teachers Bhagwat Singh and Sunita Sharma.
