IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is an important body established in colleges as per the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to ensure continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance. The main purpose of IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to enhance the overall quality of education. It works as a monitoring and coordinating agency within the institution by planning quality initiatives at the beginning of each academic year and ensuring their proper implementation.

IQAC regularly reviews the teaching–learning process, student performance, research activities, and institutional infrastructure to maintain high standards. It collects and analyzes data related to results, seminars, workshops, faculty development programs, extension activities, and other academic efforts. The cell also conducts feedback from students, teachers, alumni, and employers and uses this feedback to suggest necessary improvements.

Every year, IQAC prepares and submits the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC, highlighting the progress and quality measures taken by the college. It plays a crucial role in preparing the Self Study Report (SSR) and organizing documentation for NAAC accreditation. Overall, IQAC functions as the backbone of quality management in colleges by promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous institutional development.
